The Ala-Archa National Park is located in 40 km from the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the northern slope of Ala-Too. The area of the reserve is impressive: as many as 20 thousand hectares of complete unique plants, mountain peaks, glaciers and rare animals. There is really something to see: high mountain slopes and hills covered with coniferous thickets, rocks and steep plumb bows, a waterfall and a river taking its sources from the eternal glaciers. The length of the Ala-Archa River is 76 km. Here, on the reserved land, hunting is strictly forbidden, because Ala-Archa is the habitat for rare representatives of the animal world. You can smile good luck, and you will see a rare blue bird, a lynx, a roe deer, an eagle of a serpent, and even a snow leopard that is included in a red book. The air here is cool and full of flavors of plants, mostly conifers, which, incidentally, gave the name to the reserve (Ala-Archa - variegated archa (juniper) in kyrgyz). Another attraction is the camp of climbers, located at an altitude of 2000 m. After all, the park is also known for the fact that here there are the Crown Peak (4860 m) and the Semenov-Tian-Shansky Peak (4875 m) - the highest point of the ridge. To conquer this peak, climbers from all over the world aspire here. Despite the fact that the Ala-Archa reserve is one of the most visited places of Kyrgyzstan, traveling on such a vast territory of mountain trails and plains, there is a real opportunity to find a place that has not been concerned by human foot. Just such a scale and primordial nature of the Kyrgyz nature are so attractive for inveterate tourists and simply people looking for impressions.
