1 Day. Arrival in Bishkek and rest in the natural park of Chon-Kemin region.

Meet at the airport by Baibol Travel team. Transfer to the beautiful natural park, Chon-Kemin. The rich vegetation of the park makes this place one of the most picturesque corners of Kyrgyzstan. Here you will have time to acclimatize and relax after the long flight. On the way to the park, you can get adrenalin rush by rafting mountain river Chuy. After lunch in the guesthouse, we continue our exploration of the natural attractions, taking a walk along the beautiful gorge. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

2 Day. Storm of Kalmak-Ashuu pass on horseback

Today is a day of experiences. After choosing a horse, we set off to conquer the Kalmak-Ashuu Pass. From the peak, you can admire a magnificent view of the Chon-Kemin and Issyk-Kul valleys. Enjoy the greatness of the mountains, the wild nature and catch beautiful shots before we descend along the gorge to Balykchy. From here we take a short drive to our guest house in Cholpon-Ata.

3 Day. Study of petroglyphs on the sacred stones of Tulpar-Tash

Today we are going to explore the sacred stones of Tulpar-Tash. In the morning we will go to Jyrgalan village for accommodation in our guesthouse; we will have lunch and go on a walking tour. Along the route we drive the coast of Issyk-Kul Lake ("Hot Lake" in Kyrgyz) - one of the six deepest lakes in the world. Here are we can find countless traces of ancient nomads and Scythians, and the 8-meter high sacred stone of Tulpar Tash is one of them. There are mysterious petroglyphs on this stone. The locals consider it sacred, they believe, that the stone keeps the hoof imprint of the horse of the epic hero of the Kyrgyz people - Manas. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

4 Day. A gift of a Chinese architect to the local Muslims

Morning transfer to Karakol city. After lunch, we will go on an exciting walk to local attractions. Visiting the Orthodox Church and the last creation of the Chinese architect Zhou-Sy - the wooden mosque built by him without a single nail for the Dungans (local Chinese who accepted Islam). The architecture of the mosque is like a Buddhist pagoda made in traditional colors of green, yellow and red. We then continue our excursion to the museum of the Russian traveler N. Przhevalsky. 5 Day. Hunting with eagles and hounds

This day is full of impressions. In the morning, we go for a walk to the Farytale Skazka Canyons. In the afternoon, the guardians of the ancient hunting traditions will show you an exciting hunt with eagles and hounds. The eagle (berkut) is the strongest predatory bird and can catch a fox, a wolf, a roe deer and even a mountain goat. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

6 Day. Yurts: we learn how to collect and install.

Today we travel to Kochkor village. On the way, we will have a nice walk by the sunny lake. We stop for lunch in Kyzyl-Tuu village, which is famous for the manufacture of yurts – the traditional homes of the nomads. After lunch during the master class, you can try to collect and install the yurt by yourself. In the evening, a real nomad dinner will be set for you featuring the kyrgyz national dish, Besh-Barmak (five fingers), cooked at the stake. We will spend the night in a cool yurt where we can watch the stars through the tunduk (hole in the dome).

7 Day. Osh bazaar - the place where the oriental flavor reigns. Departure home

After our transfer to Bishkek and our stop at the Burana tower – all that remains of an ancient Karalhanid capital, we will enjoy lunch. Following this, we tour around the city, passing the central square, Manas monument, the State Historical Museum, a monument to the Soviet politician Vladimir Lenin. Then we will go to the famed Osh Bazaar for souvenirs. This is the true soul of the orient. On our return, we will have a farewell dinner with the Baibol Travel team. Overnight at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure home the following morning.

Auto-tours recommendations

Our universal list for auto-tours is designed to take into account the weather, terrain and altitude where we travel. It includes both the most necessary items and additional things (the list can changes only in the case of a complex tour).

Please the following as a guide:

  • small rucksack and expeditionary bag;
  • riding shoes (without heels or a platform, secure and closed), sneakers are preferred;
  • spare pair of shoes (if first is wet or damaged);
  • tight pants for riding in the saddle;
  • windproof and waterproof jacket (windbreaker);
  • long- sleeved shirt;
