5 Day. Exciting hunting with eagles and hounds

This day is full of impressions. In the morning, we go for a walk to the Tale Canyon. Two hours later we will have a dinner at the guesthouse. In the afternoon, the guardians of the ancient hunting traditions will show you an exciting hunt with eagles and hounds. Eagle (berkut) is the strongest predatory bird and can catch a fox, a wolf, a roe deer and even a mountain goat. Powerful paws of a bird with long claws can seriously hurt, so during contact with it, the hunter puts on the arm of a horsehair sleeve, and on top the glove.

During the hunt, berkutchi (birdman) sees the game, shouts and releases a bird that soars up into the sky and falls on the prey with a stone and breaks her spine. The special connection that is born between the bird and the berkutchi on the hunt is so strong that lasts a lifetime. The Kyrgyz hounds (taigans) accompanying the hunter are faithful assistants on the hunt. The constitution of a dog is similar to a cheetah, so the Taigan differs incredible speed. During the hunt, some of them climb onto the horse's back to have a better view of the terrain and to see the first the game. Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.
