Jailoo (pasture)

Jailoo - (translated from Kyrgyz - "summer" antonym of the word "kyshto" - wintering) - means a mountain pasture, an alpine meadow where the shepherds bring herds to grazing. Kyrgyz pastures are especially picturesque in the summer, when huge herds of animals are driven to one endless jailoo by cattle breeders and establish dozens of yurts, continuing the centuries-old traditions of their nomadic ancestors.
