The Ak-sai waterfall – the most visited attraction of the national natural Park Ala-Archa. The waterfall is located just in 42 km from Bishkek in the extraordinary beauty of the Ala-Archa gorge in the eponymous Park.

The height of the waterfall is 70 meters. The Ak-sai waterfall is easily visible from the trail that leads from the base camp, called Ratsek cabin r. It is a point of departure for the climbers to the highest point of the ridge Kyrgyz Ala-Too, the array of Crown (4860 m), Free Korea peak (4740 m), Bilan-Bashi (4700 m) and the highest Semenova-Tyan-Shan (4875 m). Equally popular among business traveler`s forays to the glacier ridge: Ak-sai, Golubina, Top-Karagai, Tuyuk, and adygene of Ala-Archa. Only here there are about 50 glaciers.

The Ak-saiwaterfall is beautiful not only in summer, when its beautiful water cascade falling from a great height, break at the foot of the millions of spray, but in winter, when a powerful stream of water solidifies into a movement, turning into a bizarre ice block.

In recent years, in Kyrgyzstan among athletes and fans of corporate entertainment is gaining the popularity and fascinating spectator sport – ice climbing. So in winter the Ak-sai waterfall glacier and it`s become a place of exercise and recreation.
