Chalap is the ancient national drink, which is very popular in the summer because it quenches thirst, refreshes, invigorates and even relieves hangover. In Kyrgyzstan you can try chalap on the streets or buy in stores. But to truly estimate  this refreshing drink you can during your journey through the Tian Shan mountains, where the hospitable shepherds will offer you this drink with a great pleasure.
